Job Title: Senior Analyst - Decisioning Technology
Location: Sheffield
Salary: up to £39,000 plus benefits
The role of the Senior Analyst is to lead a team of onshore & offshore analysts to deliver a range of projects using decisioning technology.
The Senior Analysts responsibilities will include:
• Develop & deploy decision strategies to maximise returns and support operational teams
• Use subject matter expertise to support the development of decision strategies and solutions, and pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage benefits for stakeholders through the use of decisioning technology
• Develop project plans to manage resource prioritisation of onshore & offshore teams, to ensure timely delivery and, as project lead, contribute to prioritisation of wider deliverables
• Build relationships with stakeholders and recommend appropriate steps to drive projects to delivery
• Lead project team members and contribute to team development through coaching of team members
• Minimise operational risk through the adoption of approved project methodologies, production of appropriate documentation and completion of testing activities
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of retail banking products
• A degree in a numerical discipline at 2:1 or above.
• At least 2 years working experience in a relevant role.
• Strong experience of using SMg3, Connect+, SAS & SQL
• Project management skills
• A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and others
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is a articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
• Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
• Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
