Secondary Education Consultant - Tottenham Court Road


About the Job
Protocol Education is a continually growing business and our ongoing growth plan has resulted in the need to recruit additional staff into the business.​ An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Protocol Education, a market leading education supply agency.​ We are looking to recruit a Recruitment Consultant to look after Secondary schools in our Tottenham Court Road offices.​

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing close client relationships with our secondary schools with the objective of increasing our already established business.​

Our ideal candidate will be someone that has the ability to develop both client and candidate relationships and balance the need to service existing clients with the requirements to develop our business further.​ This will be achieved through client visits and regular contact with both clients and candidates.​

Being a car driver and having access to a car is preferable.​

To be successful, you must be a self starter with a strong desire to succeed, have integrity and passion for education, be a willing learner and be computer literate.​ Ideally you should have experience in education or recruitment or sales.​ The role will require you to be hands on and be able to work in a fast paced work environment.​ Many of our consultants are former teachers.​

You will join an already established and successful team, where full training and development will be provided along with all the resources and support of a well established market leader.​

A Protocol Education Consultants' day is varied and challenging, but this role encompasses:

• Making and attending visits with school contacts in order to fully understand their exact supply requirements and how we may best assist them
• Building strong relationships on a day to day basis, promoting specific candidates to schools and offering an efficient and personable service at all times
• Identifying, and interviewing potential candidates
• Making contact with schools in a specific geographical area to promote Protocol Education's candidates for long-term placements
• Undertaking sales calls to make initial introductions and promoting the benefits of Protocol Education as a supply agency
• Negotiating and setting both charge and pay rates within certain parameters and company guidelines
• Undertaking a wide range of marketing activities in order to increase profitability of the desk
• Working closely with other members of the team at all times
• Achieving set activity and productivity targets

Benefits include 25 days annual holiday increasing with the length of service, reduced working hours over school holiday periods, and one of the most attractive and achievable uncapped commission structures in the education recruitment industry based on individual performance.​

Annual salary: £22k - £26k depending on education/​sales/​recruitment experience potential OTE of £35,000 - £40,000

Hours: 07.​00 -16.​15 and 9:15 - 18:30 term time /​ 09.​00 –16.​00 school holiday time
