Business Development Manager - Education
Midlands Based, Managing the Midlands and North Territory
£25,000 to £38,000, £60K OTE, BMW 3, BUPA, Pension
My client has been a school wear and sportswear suppliers to both primary and secondary schools for over 50 years and supply over 2,500 state and independent schools across the UK and internationally. These include many new Academies, Free Schools and University Technical Colleges.
As school uniform manufacturers, they offer enormous flexibility enabling schools to co-ordinate both school uniform and sportswear. With exceptional production and quality control, they provide a highly efficient and reliable service with low minimum order requirements. Their school uniform design team can help create a distinctive school uniform which is both practical and readily available throughout the year and not just for the Back to School period.
With a very loyal existing customer base already in place, a new role has been created to spearhead new business development in order to increase their impressive market share and improve on their success.
This role has joint responsibility for a direct Telesales report, but will also have to self generate new business opportunities via networking and market mapping. We are therefore looking for experienced new business focussed sales people, who have the proven ability and gravitas to deliver between £500,000 and £1m in annual new business sales. In order to be successful, candidates need to have the following skills and experience:
- Proven, high level new business sales experience within the Education sector.
- Exceptional Networking skills.
- A professional and ethical approach to Pitching, Negotiating and Presenting.
- Gravitas, the proven ability to advise, consult and close industry leaders.
- Energetic, Enthusiastic and fun - with the general ability to stand out from the crowd.
In return for your hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary, OTE of £60k Uncapped bonus, BMW 3 Series - fully expensed, Tablet/laptop and Mobile, Family BUPA plan, Pension.
